Caught My Duo in Cosplay — Episode 1: Play With Me

Episode 1 of Caught My Duo in Cosplay opens the way your phone does at 2 a.m.: a glowing screen, a headset, a voice in the dark. Kai, Kaiju to his guild, has spent six months raiding beside Mochi, a girl he has never seen. Their banter is pure static and sparks. 'Revive me, coward.' 'Never.' The upright frame stays tight on his face as he shares tomorrow's plan: a drive to San Francisco for the cosplay con, all to catch a glimpse of Itsumi, the pink-haired cosplayer whose photos own his nights.

Then the shot flips to the other side of the call. Mochi is Itsumi, and she just heard her biggest fan describe himself as the guy in the guild hoodie, crying in a corner. She bites her lip and says 'See you tomorrow, Kaiju.' The last close-up lands on a pair of devil horns, laid out and waiting.
