The Only Mortal in Heaven — Episode 5: Even Angels Get Hungry

Episode 5 opens on blood. William coughs it up, and nobody can explain why. Angel settles him beside the fountain. "Stay here. I'll find something that helps." She hurries off, but strange sounds drift through the marble halls, and William can't keep still. He follows them to a door left half open.

What fills the screen behind it is a revelation: angels wrapped around each other, eyes burning blue, something bright passing between their bodies. So this is how heaven eats. Angel catches him there, cheeks flushed. "I told you to wait." She pulls him away; she never meant for him to learn this so soon. Now William has exactly one question, and he needs the answer: does she do that too? She promises to tell him, just not in this hallway, then takes his hand and leads him out into the garden.
