The Only Mortal in Heaven — Episode 7: A Way Back

Episode 7 splits them up. The archangel calls Angel away on urgent business, and William waits alone by a window while every demon in the hall stares at the human. Asmodea strolls into frame in black leather. Look who's out of bed. Tonight is still on, she reminds him, so don't make her come hunting. Then she leans in close, catches a scent on him, feathers, and her smile drops right there in the close-up.

Angel returns with golden marks on her legs and huge news. The archangel dug up old chronicles, and there's a way to send William back to Earth. "Back? I'm dead." A ritual exists, and Angel will explain it all in the ward. "Oh, I wouldn't miss it," Asmodea purrs. By his bed, the catch comes out: William returns alive, but both his guardians pay a price.
